Insurance, Am I insured to Drive Your Van..... ?

  • Yes - All our vans are offered with fully comprehensive Self drive insurance that is included in the hire cost, as with any vehicle you hire you must have a full driving license

  • If you want to share the driving we can add extra drivers onto the policy for a small additional fee per driver.

What Does it Cost and What is Included..... ?

  • This is down to how long you would like to use the vehicle, we offer a minimum of two day hire but we do offer discounts for longer than three day hire.

  • 2 Days - £220

  • 3 Days - £330

  • 4 Days - £430

  • 5 Days - £520

  • 6 Days - £610

  • 7 Days - £700

  • POA for longer than 7 days

  • We also require a £750 security deposit that is fully refundable when you return the van safe and sound, This has to be paid via BACS and cannot be held in cash as stipulated by our insurance company. This amount may rise slightly if you have any endorsements on your license.

  • We also make sure that there is enough gas to cook and heat the all important Kettle for your adventure along with all the necessary camping equipment you may need

But You Don't Have Our Dates Available..... ?

  • Even if our van availability calendar isn't showing your dates available please still do ask, as we also use our vans for weekends and longer away, so we may have blocked out some dates in the calendar for ourselves that we are able to free up for you.

What Do We Need To Take..... ?

  • Camping Chairs - Got You Covered

  • Camping Table - Got You Covered

  • Cutlery and Plates Bowls - Got You Covered

  • Mugs and Glasses (Plastic) - Got You Covered

  • Bedding - We can provide bedding this is a chargeable addition, as we have to wash and clean the bedding on your return, ready for our next adventurers this is charged at £30 per hire and includes: fitted double bed sheet, Double Duvet & Duvet Cover, four pillows with pillow slips. If you are using the pop top roof sleeping area we recommend using your own sleeping bags but can provided you with them, as we have to send these away to be cleaned they are charged at £30 per sleeping bag.

  • Clothes - You need to bring these along from your own wardrobe unless you want to look like us and no one wants that ! But what do you really need a few pairs of shorts and a few T Shirts, Maybe a jumper for the night.

  • Towels - We advise using your own but can provide on request bath sized towels which would be chargeable at £5 per towel

We Have Never Used A Camper Van Before..... ?

  • When you collect the van from us, we give you a full run down on handover of how to use the van and make use of all its features, even if you are an experienced camper, we still go through the check list as many Camper Vans / Motorhomes vary in many different and wonderful ways.

What Do We Have To Do On Our Return..... ?

  • When you return the van, we ask that you give the interior a quick clean and pressure wash any dirt off the exterior so we can do a quick once over to ensure there is no nasty dings for us to find at a later date. We will give the vehicle a more comprehensive clean both inside and out, after we have done the hand over. If you don't have time we can do this on when you hand the vehicle back to us but may mean this takes a little longer to do the handover. Don't worry can make a cup of tea whilst we do this !

  • When you take the van We ensure you have a full tank of diesel, please ensure that you return with a full tank, there is two fuel stations within 1 mile of our location should you need them, if you don't then we charge you for the tank of fuel.

  • Any pots, pans, cutlery, crockery etc please also kindly leave clean, again we will put everything through the dishwasher again.

  • We appreciate accidents can sometime happen, so please let us know if anything has broken or misplaced, this is important as it allows us to replace for the next adventurers.

What If We Breakdown..... ?

  • When we purchase our hire vehicles we carefully select low mileage well maintained with comprehensive service history if not bought new and are maintained and serviced well within accordance of the vehicle manufacturers recommendations

  • However in the unlikely event you do have breakdown, we have you covered with breakdown assistance, where our able mechanics will attend to you roadside and get you back moving again, if they are not able and recovery is required this is also covered and will trigger the refund clause in our terms and conditions

Where Do We Collect The Camper Van From..... ?

  • Collection is from our us in Clay Cross near Chesterfield in North East Derbyshire, We are 5 Minutes from Junction 29 and 10 Minutes from junction 28 on the M1

  • We have driveway space for you to safely leave your car / van with us for the duration of your hire
